Thank you for visiting our website. We try to bring under your attention the work that Imbeke Trust is doing and to show the variety of projects our organization is involved in. Although the trust is still young, all trustees are involved in community development for many years. Activities which include education, healthcare and welfare, such as student sponsorship, provision of shelter, water harvesting for community members, nursery schools, a dispensarium and home support.
Our experience in the field and our aim to make this beautiful work permanent, are the reasons why we decided to establish the Charitable Trust Imbeke.

WORK IN PROGRESS
To offer women from remote villages the opportunity to follow training courses at the Imbeke Vocational Training Center, construction of the Student Village started in 2022. This project includes buildings with sleeping places for about fifty boarding school students, a kitchen, sanitary facilities, a laundry class, underground rainwater tank and a communal living space.
The project is being realized in phases and is possible thanks to the financial support of Lions Club Sint-Pieters Rhode, Wilde Ganzen, the municipality of Oud-Turnhout, the province of Antwerp, Pidpa-HidroPlus, Nike Better World and others.
PROJECT IN PROGRESS
Twenty peasant women are part of the groundnut project and received seed grain. We hope that the weather is favorable to them and that they may have an abundant harvest around December.
